Bayer Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America market for polyurethanes Frank Grunert, Head of Marketing spoke: “This project enhances the Bayer MaterialScience for the development of innovative and sustainable Materials and technologies for renewable resource power generation commitment". More examples include the traditional wind turbines, photovoltaic modules and solar thermal power generation products.

Manufacture and installation of small wind turbine business, especially in the two regions, achieved double-digit growth. In developed countries, small wind turbines to be used to develop distributed generation of smart grid, while in developing countries and emerging markets, small wind turbines are as an alternative to small power plants in popular areas without electricity.

A new wind turbine is very high, 4 meters per second wind to generate electricity. The energy generated can be stored in batteries until needed, or directly into the existing grid. System rated output of 4 kW, which means a detached house can supply the average electricity consumption.

Kliux Energies-Geólica Innovations Iñaki Eguizábal founder and CEO, said: “The unique rotor aerodynamic shape to ensure a smooth continuous power, even in changing wind speed or strong wind situation also the case". In addition to the rotor developed and patented, the company also by wind tunnel tests and computer simulations verify the system performance. Even including the tower, wind turbine total height of 9 meters.

Kliux Energies based in the Rioja region around Logroño, Spain, its known as one of the windiest areas, and installation of wind turbines is an ideal location. In summer of 2010 to install the first pilot system, which has run successfully. Another pilot systems at Bayer MaterialScience Tarragona base will be installed and run, for testing and demonstration.

Present, Kliux Energies is to examine the height of only 50 cm mini-wind turbines, as boats, trailers and camping sites and public places, the movement of sustainable lighting solutions.
